The Monitoring of Law Enforcement Journal is an informational academic journal specialising in the field of law enforcement monitoring in jurisprudence and sociology.
The journal is registered in the Russian Science Citation Index (RSCI) / РИНЦ (Agreement of Inclusion into the RSCI No. 21-01/2013 of the 4th of February 2013) as well as in the international Digital Object Identifier System CrossRef (DOI) . In accordance with the decision of the Presidium of the Higher Attestation Commission (Russian: VAK) the Monitoring of Law Enforcement Journal is included in the list of academic publications (in force from the 1st of December 2015) where the main results of research carried out by Ph.D. or Dr.Sc. students are to be published. The papers published in the journal are available in full text on the journal site as well as in the Electronic Academic Library, on the site eLibrary.Ru . The journal publishes papers of Russian and foreign scholars (lawyers and sociologists) in the field of law enforcement monitoring of legislation and legal regulations as well as problems of using them in court practice and sociology, in 23 sections (see Journal sections vs. Scientists’ specialties ). The journal is printed in full colour using colour printing equipment and contains information on the authors and reviewers (including their e-mail addresses).
All papers in the journal are prepared in accordance to an established template, have a DOI (v. “Paper submission guidelines”), special attention is paid to the research content of the papers, their originality and correct presentation of the abstract and bibliography sections. The references must contain all attributes of an academic publication, references to newspaper articles, teaching materials, anonymous and other non-academic publications are unacceptable.
The journal has been published in print since 2012.
